I've been wanting to get some procedures done but there are two separate doctors I want them from, based on experience & results pictures. I want a breast lift and fat graft from one and a arm lift, mons lift and liposuction from another. My job is hectic that I really cant take weeks & weeks off just to have multiple surgeries done. I've FINALLY saved enough and I just want to get them done. I am healthy, no issues and I do heal quickly. Is it safe to get these within a few weeks of each other?
Answer: Scheduling surgeries I would definitely advise you to wait and heal from the first surgery before having the second round -- at least 3 months. However, if that really isn't an option for you then speak with your surgeons and get their thoughts. The safety of doing this would really depend on your overall health, BMI etc.. but recognize that you will be throwing a lot at your body at one time which will definitely affect how fast you heal. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Answer: Can I have two surgeries in the same month? Yes you can, but it depends on your health, BMI, age and evaluation during a consultation. Without photos it is difficult to give any advise beyond general guidelines. What you describe, should be done all together. I am sure that there must be a board certified plastic surgeon in your neck of the woods who is experienced in body sculpting procedures. You want a breast lift and fat grafts to the breasts or other body areas at the same time? I would suggest that you do the liposuction, mons lift and fat grafting first. Wait 6 months and have the breast lift and arm lift done at the same time. I find, in my practice, that I need to liposuction the arms first prior to an arm lift to give the best results with muscle definition and not just smaller arms. I can understand the urgency of having these procedures done, but these are elective procedures and you should aim for best results in the long run with lasting results. Good luck.

Answer: Can I have two surgeries in one month? Thank you for your question. The real question is can I have two major surgeries in one month safely. In my opinion this would not be a good idea. The body goes through changes after surgery and increases your chances of forming clots in the blood vessels. Having a second major elective surgery in a short time span could increase your risks. You may wish to consider the skills of your surgeons and weigh this against your health risks. It may be that the surgical procedures alone should be in two separate sessions 3-6 months apart. Do your surgeons know and approve of your plans for multiple procedures? Please consider this information.

Answer: Two surgeries in the same month Thank you for the question. That's quite a lot of procedures to do in a month. It's like you're picking food from a menu. But it is fully feasible as long as you get fully recovered from the first surgery. It would be best to get in touch with your board-certified plastic surgeon and follow his or her opinion on the matter. Best of luck Dr. Michael Omidi.
