In Oct. 2021 I had .5ml of Restalyne classic placed in the deep plane area of both cheeks. He used a cannula and placed it deep but the result has made my upper nasolabial folds more noticeable than they were before. The increased volume was not good for my NL folds. I went to the best doctors to talk about dissolving but they said no bc its too risky and the amount of filler is small. How can i reduce the effects from the filler. I tried threads but i dont like that. No more filler. what else?

Answer: Reduce effects of fillers Thank you for sharing your question. It would be beneficial if you included a photo. It sounds like injection of a dissolvent would be the best approach to correct your problem. Fortunately, the Restylane should dissolve with time. See an experienced oculofacial surgeon for comprehensive evaluation and guidance. Good luck!

Answer: Removing the hyaluronic acid filler is not "too risky." Your injector is telling you that they do not want to remove the filler or do not understand your concerns. Removing the unwanted hyaluronic acid fillers is very straight forward and safe. The enzyme acts rapidly and likely one enzyme service will reduce the unwanted fill treatment to satisfy your concern. The fact that you did not like this filler treatment does not mean that you should turn your back on this type of service. The hyaluronic acid fillers are powerful but they can be done so wrong. However, they are absolutely wonderful when done well. However, not all injectors are created equal.
