Is it okay to wear bangs after an eyebrow transplant, how long should one wait?

I had an eyebrow transplant about a month ago and most of my grafts have fallen out (which I know is normal), but also some of my natural hairs have fallen out, and even though my doctor said that’s normal and that sometimes it happens, I am starting to freak out, mostly because I now have more bald spots on my eyebrows than before the treatment. I wonder if it would be ok to wear bangs for a while until my eyebrow hairs grow back?

Yes, as soon as the next day this is fine as long as the grafts aren't getting pulled (not sure how bangs could pull on the eyebrows hairs though).

Yes, you may wear bangs at this point- it will not affect results.  It is normal to have some shock loss of the existing eyebrow hairs which is likely what you are experiencing. Good luck! Dr. Rome

At a month post-op you are free to do whatever you would like around this area. The transplanted hairs can be treated the same as the rest of the hairs.
