Still have some transplanted hair that didn't shed or grow out yet after 4.3 months. Are these normal results?

I'm on 4 month and 3 week of my hairtransplant. So far im unhappy with the result. My donner area is healthy and even the doctor raved that my result will turn out great. I still have some transplanted hair that didn't shed or grow out yet. I expected to have alot more growth at almost 5 month. I asked the clinic about my result and they said I'm right where I should be at 4 month 3 week. I keep thinking that his my hairtransplant is a fail because this isn't the result I'm expecting at this time.

Answer: It is normal to lose transplanted hairs days to weeks after surgery. It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out.
