One to two vials are generally required. This is best combined with subcisionThe bellafill helps only depressed scars. Combination with laser resurfacing advised.
Thank you for your question. Bellafill is the only available dermal filler deemed effective and safe for the treatment of acne scars. I suggest that you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon because the in-person review will provide more accurate information on the specifics of your procedure designed specifically for your face. Best wishes,
Bellafill is not necessarily your only course of treatment for acne scarring. In fact, acne scarring can be treated with a combination approach of lasers, peels, subcision, skin care, microneedling, and fillers. I suggest consulting with an expert cosmetic dermatologist who specializes in combination acne treatments to determine what action would be best for your individual situation. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi,Thanks for the question.Bellafill for acne scar is a slow improvement and almost never 100%, so my suggestion is to go slowly one or two syringes at the time... and in between wait till it works... each time you see some improvement and you will stop when the rate of improvement is slow and you are satisfy. But the most important part is most probably the result will not be 100%.Also acne scars will benefit from combination therapy with other modalities like microneedleing, laser, RF and skin care. Talk to your physician and he/she may suggest to add another modality as well. Best of luck :)
Hard to tell just from photos, but I would estimate one syringe would do the job. It will only help with scars that will flatten out with traction.
I probably wouldn't treat those scars with Bellafill. Remember that the filler works on scars that appear better when the skin is stretched around them. I think that Infini is a better treatment for these. Laser resurfacing should also be considered. In general, the FDA study showed that patients generally required 2 syringes for treating an average of 9 scars. This was done in 2 separate treatments.
Your acne scars appear more round and retracted than the scars that are more boxcar like. You may get some improvement and one to two syringes may be needed to get a reasonable result but remember that a reasonable result is only about a 50% to 60% correction. You may consider laser, micro-needling or deep chemical peel before you go to Bellafill.I hope that helps.Best regards.
I would not advise you to get Bellafill in your lips. If used for lips, then make sure that you have experienced injector. If not injected majestically it is harder to fix problems since Bellafill is semi-permanent. It lasts up to five years. After Bellafil treatment, provider will advise you to...
It appears that you have a great result from your Bellafill injection. It is a great filler and only rarely makes lumps that have to be dealt with. In the past 10 years that I have been using Bellafill, I have only had to inject a few patients. I tell every one that they may get temporary lu...
Thank you for question! It is hard to alter nose height with one Bellafill injections. You will most probably have to have more injections to have visible results. Contact your provider to schedule follow up and to discuss your further options. Best of luck!
