At one and a half years post op you are seeing your final results. If you are still experiencing swelling it is likely not associated with your tummy tuck or liposuction but may instead be GI related. If so visiting with a gastroenterologist may be helpful.
Every patient is different in how their body heals, but most patients are fully healed at one year. This means they would swell like they used to before their surgery. I personally have not had this surgery, but I do swell when I eat salty food and when I travel. This swelling may not be related to surgery. It is always best to ask your PS to make sure that all healed okay.
