i had upper lip augmentation surgery (no filler added just stitches), 10 years ago. Two years ago i did upper lip filler but one upper side had more filler and made a lump on one side, and blood clot in the internal side of the lip, the lump did not go, and the blood clot now is still and brown in color. Same doctor injected hyaluronidase last week and the filler didnt dissolve completely. My filler is not the permenant one. Do i need more huyaluronidase dose? Will the lump and filler ever dissolve?

Pain can vary with injections. If you're concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. However, hyaluronidase will not negatively impact your natural tissue. Keep in mind, it may take a series of treatments to dissolve filler. Best, Dr. Emer
I have been using hyaluronidase for over 20 years and have not seen any problems if it is done correctly. If you do not like the filler placed in this area, it is very simple to remove it, as long as the filler was a hyaluronic acid dermal filler.
I suppose if you inject enough hyaluronidase to dissolve HA following a traumatic experience the material can dissolve your own HA. It should not dissolve any of your other tissues. I hope that's helpful to you. Best from Boston, Dr. Onir
