You are already getting treatments that may alleviate your asymmetrical look. If you don’t want to wait 10 months to see how that affects your jaw asymmetry, then a little bit of Botox in the overdeveloped masseter muscle will slim it down. If you just want to do the one side, then 10-20 Units may be sufficient. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert at treating the jaw with Botox, as this is a very advanced procedure.

Botox in the masseter muscle will relax it, allowing it to better match the other side of your face. It will take about 10 units or more and last about 6 months. A board-certified dermatologist will be able to help you with this, but make sure this is a procedure they’ve done many time before because it takes a great amount of skill. 

Botox is not measured in millileters, but rather in units. If the cause of the asymmetry is the overdevelopment of the masseter muscle, 20 units injected into the larger side may be helpful. 

Botox can help alleviate the TMJ issue and the asymmetry but you should have your dental issues corrected first and then the Botox 

The amount asymmetry that you have is absolutely normal in every single individual. However, if it bothers you so much so, you can definitely try using Botox on the side that's slightly larger. I think you are a good candidate for Botox/Dysport treatment of the masseters. The muscle on the larger side of your face could be treated with Botox/Dysport to improve face symmetry. I recommend you schedule an in person consultation with an experienced injector to discuss your concerns and to come up with an appropriate treatment plan. 

Yes Botox can be used to reduce masseter activity and muscle bulk, and there is no reason why you should not have treatment on one side only. I usually use 16-20 units per side. The full effect on muscle bulk can take about 3 months, and the effects usually last close to 6 months in my experience.
If its going to be 10 months before your teeth are sorted out I think it would be reasonable to have treatment while you are waiting for this.

Thanks for the great question! The muscle on the large side of you face can be reduced with botox. It's a fairly simply procedure and would require 10-20 units of botox. I think you'd get a very nice result.Best,Dr. Sieber
