If I want a natural, big look, do I really need a lift?
Answer: 800 cc implants too large, lift needed 800 cc implants weigh almost 2 lbs each and it is highly unlikely that implants this large can be placed behind the muscle. They will have to be placed in front of the muscle and the only thing holding up the implants is the skin envelope. As you can see, your breasts are already drooping and implants this large will make your breasts droop even more. The technique I recommend is a lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices. 8% fail within the first year and 30% fail within six years. Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Do I really need a lift if I want to get 800cc implants? I, personally, would not perform a lift with an 800 cc implant. The risk of complication is too high and I am unwilling to put my patients at undue risk.

Answer: Implants There will be nothing "natural" about placing 800 cc implants in you. They will be too large for your frame and tissue, be heavy, and sag with time. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon, being measured and examined, and trying on the range of sizes that fits your frame and tissue.

Answer: Do I really need a lift if I want to get 800cc implants? (Photo) None of the modalities to approximate final results from breast implants are 100% accurate; they merely facilitate the patient and the board certified PS concurring on the size and type of breast implant which will come the closest to reaching the patient's goal. My patients prefer to try on implant sizers (800cc in your case) under garments they typically wear (workout tops, bikini, tight sweater, low cut dress) to determine if they fit as expected and help allay some of their trepidation associated with this decision. I would recommend that you go with the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. A very general estimate is that one cup size is 150 to 200 cc of volume, but realize that no direct correlation exists between the two. It's unlikely that you will notice a difference in increments less than 100. Implants of 600cc and higher will create more tissue thinning over time, have more potential for rippling, more potential for bottoming out, greater likelihood of breast lift revisions,

Answer: Breast lift vs BA Dear jshiigi, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.
