I am just over 6 weeks post op from an FDL & Arm Lift. I wont say recovery is easy, as it is most definitely not. Actual pain has been minimal from the start, but the compression garments are the single worse thing about the whole process, very tight, very uncomfortable, but very necessary. Then you get the sharp pains of the nerves all knitting back together :) ......... Esra did remove a record breaking 8.3kg from me, so i expected healing to be long ......... is it worth it. A Million % yes. The service from start to finish is amazing. The hospital is lovely. The star of the show is of course beautiful Esra, she has changed my life. I would not hesitate to go back xx

I am 4 weeks p.o from arm lift, tummy tuck and breast lift and I can say without hesitation, Dr Esra is THE BEST at what she does. My scars are healing beautifully. They are so neat and I am in awe of what she has done for me. I never needed pain relief from 2 days after surgery. It's just very uncomfortable and the compression garments are a nightmare but I am absolutely astounded at how well I am and how much I feel back to normal. Of course I'm still being careful but genuinely, hand on heart, feel amazing. Best choice I ever made was going to her. Her clinic is spotless and beautiful. The nurses, coordinators and everyone else were absolutely fantastic. Can't rave about her enough! I came from UK. Thanks Dr Esra!!

I initially enquired about surgery with Dr Esra when she was working with TravelMEDI however I felt very confident with her and decided to continue with her privately via her own clinic. She is amazing and 100% top of the game in what she does. If myself/friends or family ever want anything doing I would not recommend her anymore. Going abroad for surgery is a very scary thing and you hear horror stories all the time. I initially felt at ease knowing a woman was doing my surgery but seeing the result of her work is truly testament to how skilled Dr Esra is. She will not be scared to say no if you are asking for something unrealistic and you will have a clear understanding following your consultation what you are to expect. I could not recommend her enough, I got an FDL tummy tuck with implants and I am still a little sore and swollen but my results are already amazing! Her nurse Eda is so lovely and very caring. I am so happy and feel very blessed to have been able to secure surgery with such a skilled surgeon.

I travelled to Turkey with TravelMedi for my rhinoplasty. Everything went smoothly from the getgo - I was in touch with Berat regarding any questions I had about the surgery, transfer, etc., which was so helpful and made me feel more at ease! Once I arrived, I had my consultation with Dr. Esra, and I felt so seen and understood - she made multiple photoshopped images for me to choose from based on my descriptions, and I went back to the hotel with so much excitement. On the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly as well and I felt that I was in good hands. After the surgery, the nurses looked after me and I got everything I needed to get through my first day. It would have been great to be consulted by Dr. Esra the day after the surgery, just to hear how the surgery went etc., since you just wake up with stitches and a cast on, and you really have no idea if everything was successful. I went back to the hotel the day after the surgery, and the hotel staff were all soo nice and helpful. The day before I flew back home, I went back to the clinic to have my cast removed. I felt that this consultation was slightly hectic, and I would’ve definitely appreciated a bit more guidance and information about what was happening, since it was really painful and uncomfortable. But other than that, my experience was so so great, and I look back at it with so much relief and gratitude! I don’t have a single regret, and I feel like (even though I’m still swollen) I’ve gotten exactly what I wanted :-)

I 100% recommend booking with TravelMEDI. From day one, I have received impeccable treatment. Not only from my patient coordinator, Berat, but also from my fantastic surgeon, Dr. Esra Bilgen. At no point did I have anything less than 100% confidence in the quality of my treatment. I booked my surgeries approximately 6 months prior to my surgery date, and in all that time, any questions I had Berat was were there and answered them all promptly. No matter how trivial they may have seemed, Berat was happy to help and put my mind at ease. From the minute my plane landed, I was taken care of. As you can imagine, it's quite daunting flying to a different country for surgery, but I can honestly say there was no need to worry. Sezery, our driver, was exactly where I was told he would be. When we met him, he was such a nice person. He took us to the hotel and arranged a time to collect us the following morning, and throughout my stay, he was always on time. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and the Hotel itself was very comfortable and our room was lovely, I don't think I've ever slept on a more comfortable bed in my life! Once it was time to move to the hospital for my surgeries, again, I was blown away by the level of care and attention I was given. The nursing staff were just fantastic. Although they didn't speak a lot of English, this didn't cause me any concerns as they made themselves quite clear to me regarding my treatment and occasionally used Google translate. They were meticulous with my pre-op check and obs. The attention to detail was second to none. At no point after my surgeries did I feel any major pain. They attended to me throughout the night making sure I was comfortable and pain free. The Hospital itself was bright, fresh and SPOTLESS. Continuously being cleaned and surfaces wiped down throughout my time there. Now to my surgeon the amazing talented Dr. Esra Bilgen. This lady is the surgeon of surgeons. Not only is she impeccable and professional she is kind and approachable. She cares about the asthetics of her craft. She totally understands your body and knows how to achieve beautiful results. My scars are perfectly symmetrical. This was a big thing for me because when doing my research I had found a lot of surgeons don't make efforts to give you good scars but Dr. Esra Bilgen did everything she could to give me my dream outcome. This is my honest review and I wish I could tell more people about my experience so they to can have a positive experience with travelling to Turkey for surgery.

Honestly couldn't recommend anyone more. From start to finish I have been kept informed and reassured with everything. Any questions I had Berat answered quickly and made me feel very comfortable going forward with the surgery. Dr Esra was so professional and couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I had the surgery less that a week ago and I am already massively happy with the results I have and can't wait till I am fully healed for the finished look! If anyone is unsure of travelling to Turkey or who to go with regarding surgey, TravelMedi is for sure the best!

The care I received from start to finish was exemplary. I chatted with berat through what’s app every question I asked was answered instantly I knew exactly what would happen from start to finish while I was in Turkey. Berat goes above and beyond for the company, even answering questions for me in the early hours of the morning, when I forgot about the time difference. When I arrived in Turkey I was collected from the airport and taken to the clinic to meet dr esra. Berat was with me every step of the way. Every one was incredible I was treated amazingly. Dr esra went through everything that would happen on surgery day. I left the clinic excited and as the treatment I was receiving was fully explained I had no nerves. On the day of surgery I was collected from the hotel by berat, who remained with my until I went down to surgery. He translated anything I or the nurses didn’t understand. He stayed with me when I had my pre op with anaesthetist I felt relaxed and very well looked after. Dr Ezra came to see me and marked me up and explained everything again so I knew what to expect. When I woke up from surgery the nurses were incredible observation’s were taking frequently and pain medication topped up so I was mainly pain free throughout my stay. My dressings were changed the day after surgery as well as the day I left. I was in hospital all day Tuesday and Wednesday and discharged Thursday midday. Berat kept in contact with me throughout my hospital stay. When I was discharged I was collected by berat and taken to my hotel. My medication was delivered to me at the hotel due to traffic and berat being concerned about the amount of time I was in the car. I remained in the hotel till Monday. berat was in contact with me daily and I sent pictures of my drains to make sure everything was draining ok. On Sunday evening I went to the clinic to check all incisions with dr esra have dressings changed and receive my fit to fly. The appointment wasn’t rushed dr esra took her time checking every incision and talking me through the dressing changes so I knew exactly what I needed to do back home. I was then driven back to hotel. Monday morning I was collected from the hotel and taken to the airport. The whole experience was amazing I would highly recommend the team. Dr esra is a master in her profession. I had an FDL tummy tuck, moms lift and breast lift with implant. I am now 6 weeks post op and healing well back at work. Berat still checks in on me to see how my recovery is going. You are not just a number they really do care about their patients.

I had a really positive experience for my breast uplift with Dr Esra. From the moment we arrived at the airport, our every need was met. Our Co-ordinator Beret arranged everything from the start. This to me made everything so much easier and gave me confidence in the service. As for Dr Esra............. she is just amazing and worked wonders. Filled me with confidence at the first examination. I intended to have implants as well but she advised that I didn't need them for the outcome I was looking for. I would highly recommend this complaint and surgeon, I have no regrets and am so happy with the whole experience. Even the after care and knowing that I can message anytime for advice.

I am almost 2 months post-op of my rhinoplasty and I couldn’t love my results more. After surgery I had very minimal pain and bruising and the staff at the hospital were very attentive to anything I needed. Dr. Esra really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and gave me the nose of my dreams. Her and the rest of her team were kind, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable the minute I stepped off the plane. Berat, her assistant, was wonderful and was always available to answer any questions I may have had both before and after surgery. Overall, my experience was amazing and I can’t recommend Dr. Esra and her team enough!
