I'm interested in a breast aug with silicone implants. I was told that I was borderline between a periareolar and lollipop lift for my right (droopier) breast. I was also recommended an ultra high profile round implant for perkiness. However, I am a little hesitant on which lift (if any) I should get, as well as the implant profile (scared of looking too fake). I am currently barely a B cup and hope to achieve a full B or small C (shape > size). Wish pics also attached. Is this achievable?
Answer: Mini lift with fat transfers Your breasts are asymmetrical in volume, shape and position. It is possible to use a periareolar technique for minor lifts such as yours and will lift the breasts a few centimeters. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers can be performed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Would a periareolar lift on the right breast with implant be enough to correct asymmetry and achieve desired result? I do think a minimal lift is all that is needed to correct the asymmetry. There will always be subtle differences from side to side but should be able to get things close. I always prepare patients to have more scars but obviously try to do a great surgery with minimal scarring.

Answer: Would a periareolar lift on the right breast with implant be enough to correct asymmetry and achieve desired result? (Photo) Try on a moderate profile bra with various implant sizes you board certified plastic surgeon recommended under a tailored blouse, tight sweater, swimsuit, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. An in-office examination by a board certified plastic surgeon would be necessary to determine whether the periareolar or lollipop is the best lift for you. The surgeon you select should be so skilled at breast surgery and lifts that the smallest scar will be utilized to achieve optimal shape.

Answer: Would a periareolar lift on the right breast with implant be enough to correct asymmetry and achieve desired result? (Photo) Judging from your photos and the fact that you only want to go up from a small B cup to possibly a full B or small C cup, I would definitely not use an ultra high profile implant. This would look to narrow for your breasts, and in my opinion would look unnatural. The maximum profile that I would recommend would be a high profile, but possibly a moderate plus profile. Your plastic surgeon should place "sizers" on your breast to help you determine the size of your implants. Regarding the uplift for your right breast, you will at least need a lollipop uplift. The crescent lift that you mentioned will only lift your right breast a maximum of 2 cm. This will not be enough. The vertical scar below your right areola should be inconspicuous and should never have stitch marks. This will make the shape more symmetrical with your left breast. Thank you for your question and photographs, and best of luck to you.

Answer: Breast asymmetry Dear breastaugcandidate4455, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you might get good results after different size implants. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
