I have been told that cryolipolysis TRIGGERS fat cell death (apoptosis) and they slowly die over a period of the next 2-3 months

I placed 10 ml of oil in the deep freezer. After about 20 mins it had turned into some kind of hard-ish sticky gel but it hadn't frozen fully. What is the minimum time period for which the fats or fat cells of the area of treatment need to be exposed to cold to cause them to die? 30 mins? more? With the Zeltiq machine, the time frame for which the area needs to be exposed is 60 mins, whereas some clinics claim that only 30-45 mins are required on their machines. Would such machines be effective?
