Bone looks and feels strange after revision rhinoplasty. It feels like a ridge. Do I need another surgery to fix this? (photos)

A random and unwanted tract of fracture at nasal bone; seems the right side the roof is open and left closed partially; anyhow too soon to judge.Solutions, some of several of the following:-revision rasping the spike-re-doing the osteotomies in order to close the dorsum and infracture as well the right side bone-temporal fascia graft to hide such irregularities and fill the areaDo await no less than 1 year and we will see.

Yes, swelling on one side can be present 6 weeks after surgery.  What does your surgeon say?  Sometimes there is a little edge of bone.  Sometimes there is a bone with a little extra coating as part of the healing, which will go down.  You must see your operating surgeon or at least have consultation with another experienced surgeon.  One and a half months after surgery is not a long time for the nose to be ripening and maturing and there is a fair chance that it may disappear.  But, sitting here only looking at the photo, I cannot tell you.  If you are not comfortable with your surgeon, seek out opinion from another surgeon how has equal or greater qualifications in the arena of rhinoplasty.  Someone with long experience, a high degree of specialization in rhinoplasty, and a large photo gallery showing you the work that he or she performs.   Bring a friend or family member to also listen and observe.  Bring a list of questions and, most importantly, bring all of the records from the original operating surgeon.  This would include photographs, preoperative consultation, and postoperative notes.  Try to get everything lined up so that your consultation will be productive.
