Does intermittent fasting affect hair transplant?

My hair transplant procedure took place on the 28th and 29th of November (2018), I read great things about IF and wanted to try it out and I wanted to make sure it doesn't compromise my hair transplant results. I was looking to do the 16/8 IF.

In my opinion, the first hair wash should be done after 7 to 10 days after the procedure. This would allow the grafts to heal and the scabs to fall of own its own.
