Does intermittent fasting affect hair transplant?

My hair transplant procedure took place on the 28th and 29th of November (2018), I read great things about IF and wanted to try it out and I wanted to make sure it doesn't compromise my hair transplant results. I was looking to do the 16/8 IF.

Thanks for your question. Intermittent fasting has become a very popular weight maintenance strategy. Many of my plastic surgery patients adhere to this eating regimine. It has no impact on healing as long as you are ingesting adequate calories and nutrients when you do eat.

Intermittent fasting is an excellent diet strategy to lose weight and get healthy. It does not impact the ability to perform hair transplant
