Can I still get a BBL if I had an abortion 21 days before the procedure?

I would probably recommend at least six weeks just to be on the safe side, but the best people to consult would be your OBGYN and the plastic surgeon that will be performing your BBL. Every surgeon will have their own pre and post-operative guidelines that you should follow carefully. Also both your OBGYN and plastic surgeon know the specifics of your case in detail and will be able to give you the best advice.

I would consult with my Plastic Surgeon and OBGYN doctor. 5 weeks after an abortion seems early on the face of it, both physically and emotionally to take on 4-5 hours of surgery. You have to also be psychologically ready to deal with any complications that may occur as well as have good family support before and after the operation. I hope that helps.

most plastic surgeons will probably do the surgery 3 weeks after abortion but every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

I recommend waiting at least 45 days after the abortion. This way your surgery would have less risks.
