Can fat cells die 2 years post BBL from trauma?

My butt was slapped hard 5 days ago (left a hand print and bruise), and it still feels warm, a little itchy, feels softer, and looks a little different. Maybe the appearance is in my head, but it definitely feels different than before, and feels different than my other cheek. Is it possible for fat cells to die from something like this?  Thanks in advance!

I understand your concern. Generally speaking, a big trauma is required to cause fat necrosis. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

At 6 months post transfer, results change very little beyond this point. Some say that the results after 6 months are final and likely permanent. You have to have been hit hard enough to have caused fat necrosis which can cause dents in your buttocks. Many snow skiers encounter this problem as a result of hard falls.
