Hello darling,After analyzing your case I can say that we cant tell you a 100% total answer without an examination. You will need to get a clearance from your cardiologist prior to surgery to make sure youre ready to get it done. We dont want any complications during surgery, remember, safety first.Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon.Hope this helps and best of lucks!Dr. Luis Mejia.
Hello, thank you for your question. If your cardiologist clears you before surgery and has no reason to believe that you would suffer an infarct during or after the surgery, you should be reassured to proceed with the surgery. Of course, your plastic surgeon must be notified of all of the EKG results and determine the risks before approving you for the BBL.
Dear Thriving812765,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You will need to get a clearance from your cardiologist prior to surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I suggest you talk to your plastic surgeon to see if he or she will clear you for the procedure. If you don’t have one I suggest having multiple in person consultations and choosing one.I also suggest you talk to your primary care doctor or the cardiologist about your EKG abnormality.I have no idea what your plastic surgeon is going to say about your EKG but personally I would want medical clearance.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Dear emarie87, I understand your concern. Generally speaking, a big trauma is required to cause fat necrosis. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough...
