1 month post op, left breast still hasn't dropped? (Photo)

Question

It has been 32 days since surgery.I got 400ccs silicone sub muscular,my right has dropped and rounded out beautifully. My left has not. It pretty much looks the same as it did right after surgery, it has dropped a little but looks funky? I know one drops faster than the other usually but it has barely changed. is this CC? my right breast is a little bit softer.I have been massaging like crazy too..dont like how the left one looks at all. I Did have some asymmetry but it was not this extreme.

Probably the texture and the viscoelastic resistance of both breasts is uneven, therefore the evolution is not in parallel, give it time. The work looks fine so far.

The bottom pole on that side looks tight and has not relaxed yet.  The sides are different to start with and this may result in the difference.  The implants amplify these things.  I would tell my patient to use a asymmetrical band to push the higher one down, massage, vit E and if firm Singular. Good luck

At one month there is no way to judge the final outcome.  You need to do breast massage and work the implant into the right position.  It will take 6 months for everything to settle down.

Thanks for your inquiry and picture.  It is still a little early for a capsular contracture-but it can happen. I think you are doing the right thing with massage, but ask  your surgeom about wearing a bandeau.  Good Luck

Thank you for your question and photos. It is too early for capsular contracture. More likely, the soft tissues of your left side are still just a bit less supple than the right. Continue your massage and be patient, the asymmetry is likely to improve with more time. Good luck.

Thanks for question and pictures.  Its hard to tell without examining if you have capsular contracture or if the implants just haven dropped.  I would not panic, sometimes it takes longer and usually they don't drop at the same time.  Beside massage follow up with your surgeon to see if a strap can also help encourage them.  Good luck.
