Looking for opinions on if my situation islikely to see the nipple position take up to a more natural position or not with my specific circumstances. I have had follow up with my surgeons office today and they advised that “time will tell” if the bottom skin stretches out to allow the drop to happen in the lower pole (lifting the nipple) or if the upper skin will stretch and we will see a drop happen with the nipples remaining lower on the breasts.
Answer: Fat transfer It's difficult to predict exactly how your nipple position will change over time after a breast augmentation with fat grafting, as there are many factors that can impact the final outcome. However, I can offer some general information that may be helpful. After breast augmentation, it's common for the breasts to appear high and tight initially. This is because the skin and tissue need time to stretch and adjust to the new implants. Over time, as the skin and tissue stretch, the implants may settle into a more natural position and the nipple may move slightly downward. In your case, since you had fat grafting as well, the additional volume may impact the settling process. It's possible that the fat may take longer to fully integrate and the skin may need more time to stretch to accommodate the added volume. Ultimately, the final nipple position will depend on the elasticity of your skin, the size and shape of the implants, and the amount of fat grafting you received. As your surgeon mentioned, time will be the best indicator of how your nipple position will ultimately settle. It's important to follow your surgeon's post-operative instructions, attend follow-up appointments, and communicate any concerns you have during the recovery process. I hope this helps, Best of luck !

Answer: Breasts You did not post your before photo which would show where your nipples naturally sit. You also did not state how far out from surgery you are. It can take up to 6 months for the tissues to relax and the implants settle. If you are past that time, please discuss things with your surgeon.

Answer: BA results Dear Vivid4915, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Will your implants settle? It is a little hard to know from the information you have given, but it appears your surgery was quite recent as there is still some bruising. It is also a little confusing when you write dual plane with fat grafting from under armpit, because you have scars around the areolae. If you are still early the lower breast will almost certainly expand and this will give the impression of the nipple rotating upward; this is especially so with implants put in through the armpit ( I have done thousands of cases through the armpit over the past 25 years). You are best to take your surgeon's advice and give this time. There is no substitute for an in-person consultation with a certified plastic surgeon. Seriaal visits are also veery helpful in assessing a patient's progress Best wishes from Vancouver
