Use of makeup on lipo incisions?

After 4 weeks of liposuction you should be able to cover up your scars, the incisions should be closed by this time,every surgeon has different care instructions consult with your PS about it.

Hi, Thank you for your post. At about a month you can start to begin scar therapy treatment as long as you are cleared by  your dr. You want to make sure that the incision is completely healed before putting anything on it. If you have any questions or concerns please follow up with your plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your question. At one month, your incisions should be well healed. You can start scar management as instructed by your surgeon and you can also cover the incisions as you see fit.Hope this helps!

I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol for using make-up on incisions. This would depend on how they have healed. Also, you may still have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. I wouldn't add makeup or touch the area, as you need it sterile to prevent infections. There are several wound dressing options that can cover up the incisions, dermaflage that would be ideal for your condition.
