gaining weight after a tummy tuckits always best to maintain your weight as much as possible .   it just as easy,  or difficult, to loose the weight after the surgery, but gaining this much weight can stretch your skin and muscles

A tummy tuck procedure will not affect your ability to lose weight.  Losing the weight will enhance the result of your tummy tuck. It is impossible to predict whether your abdomen will look exactly as it did prior to the weight gain.Best of luck,

The fact that you've had a TT should not impact your ability to lose or gain weight - in general, losing a bit of weight after TT can enhance the result.

Getting a tummy tuck should not change your body's ability to lose weight. If you gain enough weight that the skin is stretched out then you will not look the same as you did before the weight gain.

That should not be harder to lose weight after a tummy tuck than before a tummy tuck.  It is very important to maintain a constant weight after your tummy tuck.The concern is that gaining weight can restretch the tummy tuck skin so that weight loss allows the skin to become loose again.Hopefully the 30 pounds you have gained have not significantly stretched your tummy tuck result.  I would encourage you to lose the weight and follow-up with your plastic surgeon.

Sorry to hear you gained weight after a tt.  I have not seen weight gain as a problem after TT in my patients.  Weight gain stems from eating too much and is the same in people with and without a TT history.   Lose the weight and be ever vigilant and you will be fine.  My Best   DrC
