I had a pulse dye laser treatment for a red spot on my face (I have rosecea). I ended up with quite a bruise. Is this normal? Is it possible I might scar or have permanent discolouration? How long does it take to resolve and what can I do to speed up the process?

The pulse dye laser is the treatment of choice, you can fade the port wine stain substantially in the majority of cases. If treated early, complete removal is possible. I perform treatments 3 months apart, and you may need upto 6 or more, depending on the size, location and other factors....
