My daughter,11, In the photo this is the "normal" way it looks but early in the morning the swelling is so big her lip sometimes bleeds. It gets darker and very hot. Is this dangerous and is there a procedure to fix all of this? If there is what does cost normally look like?

Vascular lesions are responsive to real medication such as inderal, a beta blocker. Milton Waner in NYC is the national expert in port wine stains. For resistant cases the pulse dye laser can lighten but not eliminate the port wine stain.Consult a physician experienced with port wine stains at your local medical school university hospital for an expert opinion.
