had my BA done on 11/04/14, I thought I was making the right decision on size, I now wish I went bigger. The sizers fooled me big time! I have no cleavage, he told me that it's mainly due to how far apart my chest is, said if we go with a 580, extra high pro and change the texture to one down that should help. Right now I am a 375 high pro, with the softest gel you can get. Will 580 be pushing it at all? I am tall, 5"11, athletic, more so lean but with some butt to even it out ;)
Answer: Wide Gap Good evening,I agree with some of the others that the problem is two-fold, your pockets were not created properly and your implant selection wasn't the greatest. If I were going to use 375cc for you, it would most definitely be a Mod Plus profile to help fill in the gap. Of course dissecting the pockets closer together is also necessary. For your revision there is no way I would use an UltraHigh profile implant- the same thing will happen, except this time it will look even more weird because the 580 UltraHigh has almost the same width as your 375 HPs but the projection will be increased. My recommend ation would be as follows:1) dissect the pockets properly2) use a High Profile implant in the 600-650cc rangeHope this helps!

Answer: Revision surgery The problem is not that the breasts are too far apart to begin with, but that the muscle was inadequately released at surgery and the space was not created in a way that would maximize you cosmetic outcome. Your implants can be closer together if the pocket is opened properly by a surgeon with experience in revision breast surgery. A change to 580 should be fine. I would not use textured implants. There is no reason to make that change in your case. The base diameter of the implant is not the problem here, the space needs to be refined and improved. You do not need fat grafting to fix a problem with the implant pocket.

Answer: Size I would suggest going back to your surgeon and trying on a 200cc sizer to give you an idea of the increase in volume you may expect. Also, a wider base implant will probably help give you better cleavage. You may also benefit from fat grafting in the medial or inner part of your breasts to give more fullness there.

Answer: Will a 580 high profile be too much on me? I am sorry to hear about your concerns after breast augmentation surgery. You will find that online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific advice in regards to selection of specific breast implant size/profile. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup” or "too much on me" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery ( after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers). Viewing the patient's chest wall in the upright and supine positions, with temporary sizes in place, help select the best breast implant size/profile for the specific patient. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to revisionary breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Will a 580 high profile be too much on me? You have no cleavage because you used a narrow based implant. Use a much wider base that fits your specific dimensions. Look at the moderate plus profile by Sientra.
