Can you please provide the different method of performing PRP and the advantages, Which one of these version of PRP is the most effective version , PRP with the Microoneedling method or PRP with Injection ? Thank you.
Answer: PRP Micro-Needling vs Injection Hi there Sherryes21, I don't know what results you are necessarily looking for but, I can tell you what each treatment targets and works best at and hopefully that gives you the guidance you need. Micro-Needling with PRP, stimulates extra collagen production, which can help heal scars and reduce signs of aging. PRP contains proteins, including growth factors and cytokines. The addition of PRP from the blood may make microneedling more effective. Platelets help blood clot, so they are vital for healing wounds and injuries. PRP is plasma in which the concentration of platelets is higher than that of other components of the blood. These proteins help skin tissue repair itself. Benefits: acne scarssurgical scarswrinkles and fine lineshyperpigmentationsun damagelarge poresuneven skin texture PRP Injections, uses the same technology as listed above, the only difference being that it is injected. For this reason I find that PRP Injections are best for treating specific targeted areas. Like, under the eyes, the lips, and fine lines. I like to use PRP injections as a natural alternative to filler. The only downfall is that it takes about a month and repeated treatments to sometimes see desired results. These results can then last 12-18 months. For this reason many patients like to combine Dermal Fillers with PRP for an immediate results, with the PRP helping it last longer. I also use PRP injections for my O-Shot and P-Shot. Which aids in helping sexual dysfunction in men and women. I hope this helped! Dr. Eisenbrown

Answer: PRP Thank you for your message! Our office works with PRP in two ways, using it during a microneedling treatment to work it into the epidermis and then injecting it more deeply into the skin. We often couple the two methods to help boost superficial and deeper results. PRP helps to boost collagen in the area! I would recommend a consultation with a provider in your area for further evaluation and to see which method, if not both, work for you!
