What can I do for my long and weird face shape? (Photos)

I have a long face and the third lower of my face is extremely thin which makes my face uneven. It feels like I have no jaw bones at the sides of my face. It makes me self conscious and I want to correct it. I had double jaw surgery 2 years ago and I am happy with results. But I want a wider, normal face shape. What are my options? Thank you.

As a result of your double jaw surgery you have nice facial balance, but lack definition along your jawline. The use of custom angle of jaw implants can diminish this long vertical appearance.

With your very high jaw angles, you would need either standard or custom jaw angle implants to change your mandibular plane angle to a more balanced facial shape. Whether true custom implants are needed depends on they ratio of vertical drop to width at the angles and how far forward the extension needs to come. For females the jaw angle drop is almost all vertical and the anterior extension must come al the way to the chin to a smooth linear jawline effect. This can only be reliably achieved with custom jaw angle implants.

You have a common issue when the growth pattern is vertical. One can use jawline augmentation to alter the steep angle and also the width and projection as desired. (See website) The amount of change will be proportional to the midface balance. Creating a 'model jawline' is feasible.
