I’m currently having bladder issues and this is what they think I may have. Not sure if it will interfere with having this procedure? I was gonna have a tummy tuck but thought I’d wait on that.
Answer: BBL and Tummy tuck The BBL and tummy tuck are beautiful surgeries with gratifying outcomes. But before any such serious undertaking you must make sure there are NO other active medical conditions going on. Because then complications may occur.Pleas make sure with your primary care MD and urologist that everything is treated before seeking plastic surgery.PS: Tummy tuck surgery could help with certain bladder conditions especially after child birth.

Answer: Can you get lipo/BBL if you have iInterstitial Cystitis or Trigonitis? hello thank you cuestion and provided information as well.. Based on your case, cystitis or trigonitys does not affect your bbl.but the ideal is that you are treated before by your doctor. My recommendation is a consultation in person with your doctor that indicates the pertinent treatment and after completing the antibiotic scheme, consult in person with your certified plastic surgeon to see and evaluate you. Your case.

Answer: Preoperative protocol Dear calmaguer13,every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. It is recommended to postpone elective procedures in case of an infection. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Pre-Operative Clearance Thanks for your question. Interstitial cystitis or Trigonitis does not effect your Brazilian butt lift. However, as long as you're being treated for the condition and that physician clears you for surgery (meaning that you're healthy enough to have a surgical procedure), then we can go ahead with the operation. Typically the clearance required from your primary care physician will include a history and physical and lab work (CBC, chem 7, etc) but in this case, a urinalysis may also be requested. Speak with your current doctor to see if that's something that he or she would clear you for.
