How long will this take to heal? Are steroids along with massage the best path to treatment? I just had surgeon inject steroids into it. He said now it scar tissue.

Answer: It should heal If your seroma was drained and you received a steroid injection, you've done most of what can be done. It should heal but it will take a long time. Its best to follow with your surgeon.

Answer: Bump etiology must be ascertained before you start doing things to it... was fluid aspirated out from it to confirm a seroma? Could it be a saliva leak? Is it a suture pulling your skin in less than ideal ways? Is it from the dissection that was done when your flap was elevated? Just so many possibilities and they all have different solutions and if your surgeon is a board certified plastic surgeon, I would have to assume you are being treated properly.
