High radix/bridge after rhinoplasty. Unhappy with side profile. Will it change in time? (Photo)

Question

I had rhinoplasty three weeks ago to correct a hump on my nose. I am happy with the front view of my face but my nose now looks really weird from the profile, almost unnatural, like a boxers nose. My radix looks really high and wide and is very hard to touch. I hate it. Will it stay like this?

You are in the early phase of healing so it is important to be patient at this point.  The radix swelling may subside and not need a correction.  Once you have full skin sensation and the tip is soft and supple, you may better assess the final result and the need for any revisions.

It appears that your nose is too short! Your surgeon may have removed too much of the dorsum and did not account for your projected tip. You will still change opver the next several months as your tip drops. Be patient.

At this VERY early postop time frame (3 WEEKS!) you need a degree of patience. If after 6 months still with these issues best to consider revision.....

Your surgery is still very recent, but I see what your concerns are.  Allow your nose to heal before attempting any revisions (unfortunately, this can be 9-12 months).  However, after a month or two, some fillers can be injected to help augment your "bridge"  and make your radix appear lower and narrower while you are healing.
