Tanning beds do not affect lip fillers, but still shouldnt be used in my opinion. they make you look older and give you cancer. Best, Dr. Emer.
No matter what you might have heard about tanning beds, the UV light is a major risk for photo aging and skin cancer including melanoma. Melanoma is the most lethal of the skin cancers. Avoiding tanning beds is a risk factor that you have control over. Don't use tanning beds. Then you don't have to worry about what the UV light might do to your lip treatment.
I don't recommend using a tanning bed. Keep in mind, it will take up to 2 weeks for final results. Hope this helps.
I would recommend not exposing your lips to a tanning bed a day after lip injections. I would recommend just covering your lips so that the UV light does not hit them.
Hello! I do not recommend using tanning beds at all. If you do go though, please cover your lips so the tanning bed UV exposure does not affect them. Best Of luck!!!
The great news about filler is that in most cases it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. If you aren't happy with your results then you can simply start over. Lip filler should be subtle and youthful. Good Luck!

By the looks of the photo, it could be an infection, fluid build up or a small amount of the filler with an inflammatory response around it. You need to return to your Injector for a face to face evaluation. If they send you away again, then you should consider only being injected by a physician...
Hi, I have performed many lip augmentation procedures using dermal fillers or lip implants for over 30 years. From the photos, your upper lip is small compared to your lower. Following my beauty principles, the lips should be full with the upper lip approximately 75 % the size of the lower lip ...
Hypothyroidism should not have an effect on the longevity of the lip filler. Typically, lip fillers last 6-9 months but in some patients it may last a shorter or longer period of time.
Hey there,Pale areas post filler may be because of inadequate massage post filler or because of superficial placement of the filler or it may be a sign of ongoing vascular compression because of the filler. Best thing you should do is to get back immediately to your injector and get it sorted ...
