You could be experiencing post-injection swelling and edema, worsened by the bump you have noticed. I recommend massaging the lips and wait about two weeks to see if anything changes. By the looks of the photo, it could be an infection, fluid build up or a small amount of the filler with an inflammatory response around it. You need to return to your Injector for a face to face evaluation. If they send you away again, then you should consider only being injected by a physician or an Injector in a Physician’s office in the future. -Dr. Yovino

You have a lot of swelling that needs time to go down. The yellow lump you noticed could be an abscess or it could be a module created by the filler. It definitely doesn’t look like a sore. You need to return to the clinic that took care if you. It should be their responsibility to assess you and treat you accordingly. If they won’t you need to see a cosmetic doctor or a facial plastic doctor.

At the risk of sounding non-collegiate toward certain other physicians, it is my opinion that you should never return to any doctor who is not responsible enough to see you after treatment for any side effect of a treatment they performed whether reasonably or unusually incurred including of course bruising, cold sore, swelling, lump or bump. It is absolutely necessary for the doctor who performed the treatment to see you and not a primary doctor. If the treating doctor is not keen about seeing you, you should make an appointment with an experienced facial plastic surgeon to address the problem. It is a bit hard to appreciate in the picture whether you are pushing the "lump" in the right side of your upper lip with your tongue or whether it is more superficial. Also, it is important to actually palpate the lip in order to assess whether it is a small abscess (pocket of pus) or a nodule created from the filler material.
