Unfortunately on the second day I started to notice a yellow lump appear I contacted the aesthetics clinic they told me it was a cold sore .. I went to my doctor she then told me it was a bacterial infection, I then told the clinic and they told me to release the puss with a surgical needle

If this is a cold sore, it needs to be treated with Valtrex. I recommend following up with your Doctor. If necessary, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I recommend following up with your Doctor. If this is infected and needs to be drained, it should be performed by a professional with antibiotics. If necessary, the filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps.

Hi there, you definitely have a localised infection. I would not use a surgical needle as this can cause the infection to spread. Sorry to say that this is not something you can manage on your own.

This needs assessing by the injector. Infection is likely to need antibiotics and may need the filler breaking down to so it is no longer a source for the infection.
I would recommend a quick review to minimise any further issues and to get control of the problem.
