Botox causes me a sinus infection ( tearing eyes , blocked stuffy nose ). last time ( the sixth time i administered Botox ) i suffered from dizziness and vertigo . Is there an alternative to Botox for cosmetic purposes that doesn't cause such symptoms ?

Answer: Alternatives to Botox It is not typical for Botox to cause sinus infections. Perhaps a sinus infection was already incubating before you had Botox and it was easy to blame the Botox in hindsight (like getting the flu 3 days after getting your flu shot...it really was NOT the flu shot that "gave" you the flu). With that being said, there are 2 alternatives, however, both are still botulinum toxins. One is Xeomin, which is the most pure form of botulinum toxin (I call it the "organic" Botox) and the other is Dysport. I have found Xeomin to be quite effective and even use it myself.
