I do perform tummy tuck and Brazilian butt lift at the same setting, but not with the same frequency which I once did. Recovery is difficult and, as many of my patients are getting simultaneous fat grafts into the outer thighs, it's not possible for them to lay on their sides. One of the products you may want to investigate is the CurveCure mattress. It's an inflatable mattress with a strategically cut out hole for BBL patients. I'll use it commonly in my practice for patients having combined procedures. I actually recently wrote a blog about this, which is the web reference below.Hope this helps - Sam Jejurikar, MD
You can have a combined tummy tuck and BBL which will leave you sleeping and lying primarily on your sides. Discuss this with your plastic surgeon in advance of your procedure. If your surgeon is planning to inject your hips, that fat may be compromised by the increased pressure on your hips.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
Thanks for yourquestion. It is difficult when you have BrazilianButt Lift and a tummy tuck at the same time.Your best option is to sleep or rest on your side in the initialpostoperative period.Just be sure thereis no long-term sleeping on one particular side (you want to switchpositions).I hope this helps.
Hello, and thank you for your question. It is very possible to have both procedures done at the same time. Many patients will rest, sleep, and relax on their side. This is to avoid resting on the incision from the tummy tuck, and to avoid undo pressure to the buttocks. Please choose a board certified plastic surgeon with years of experience performing multiplie procedures at once. Also, follow all post operative instructions to ensure the best results. All the best,Dr. ObengBeverly Hills, CA
Cosmetic surgery on girls this young isn't the best idea. I suggest diet/exercise as her body will change substantially in the next few years. Surgery would be best only after going through puberty and trying to change her body with traditional methods. Surgery in children would only be b...
Thanks for your inquiry. The most common complication in my mind is the incomplete take of the fat transferred. In essence, some of the fat is transferred is not going to take and you will lose of the volume that was added.Seroma (fluid accumulation) is another risk to consider.I hope this helps!
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your pictures, you are a good candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abd...
