      Your tip can be refined and elevated, and the overall size of your nose can be reduced if you like.   Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of rhinoplasties and rhinoplasty revisions each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

If by button nose you mean a nose that is cuter, smaller and more feminine, then yes, rhinoplasty can give you a nose like that permanently.  Though surgery may not be able to achieve all the things you can simply by pushing on your nose, it can certainly increase the rotation of your tip, refine your tip, and improve your profile.  

 Rather than trying to classify what a button nose is, it is better to perform computer imaging see what might look good on your facial features. I think the days of making button noses are fortunately over. In the 70's and early 80's I think that was the  norm but unfortunately many patients became "nasal cripples" by not being able to breathe well.  Now form and function are the goal and while the tip can be refined, a button nose is not recommended for most because the appearance will often not look natural.

The cartilage of your distal nose can certainly be shaped to give your a smaller more refined tip.  The real question is the thickness of the overlying skin.  If the skin is thick then the changes will not be as refined.  

Well, yes your nose can be rotated up.  You have to be careful not to get too much nostril show.  There are specific limits in the angle between the nose in the lip that look good.

I know what you mean.  This look is sort of out of fashion now.  But if you like it and if it fits your face, it is easy enough to achieve with a good finesse rhinoplasty.
