I had a consultation with a surgeon, he said that buttock augmentation with an implant is not the best way, because over time its contour will be visible, and it will not look beautiful. Therefore, he advised that it is better not to do this operation. How much do the results of gluteoplasty with implants actually worsen in the future? For example, in 3, 5, 10 years?
Answer: Buttock implants If performed properly, and by a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure, buttock implants are a long-lasting solution with amazing results! Please be sure to choose a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and is well known for their work in the medical community.

Answer: Long term results of gluteoplasty Well, obviously the surgeon you had a consultation with is not very experienced with or knowledgeable about gluteoplasty (a.k.a. buttock implants) and likely does not even perform this procedure on a regular basis, thus, is providing you with misinformation. On the contrary, when buttock implants are properly performed and placed fully within the gluteus muscles, they provide the most predictable, relatively safe, reliable and long-term results compared to any other FDA approved buttock enhancement option, period. Please note that an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock or hip implants, so you may need to travel far and away from home to seek a legitimate consultation with this particular type of surgeon. I hope this is useful information for everyone. Glad to help.

Answer: Success rate with gluteal implants Gurriel implants have a higher complication rate and higher patient dissatisfaction read even when things don’t end up with serious complications. The majority of plastic surgeons in the United States don’t offer gluteal implants and there’s a good reason why they don’t. The success of the procedure is highly dependent on who does the operation. If the implants are placed inside the gluteus muscle and the size is kept to what fits within the muscle than the complication rates anesthetic long-term results do much better. most surgeons in fact do not place the implants inside the gluteus muscle but put it in a plane between the fat and the muscle layer and this causes the implant to move positions from pressure from sitting on the implant every time you sit. In certain anatomic positions the edges of the implants will show. This leaves a substantial number of patients unhappy with the procedure opting for removing the implants. The tissue plane that’s created by separating the skin and fat layer from the muscle layer to make room for the implant now allows the skin and fat layer to move after removing the implants and Kim cause the entire buttocks to drop into a new with sagging position from removal of the implants. Simply removing the implants can lead to disfigurement as can the procedure itself. The list of why you should void this implant is long and real. I recommend patients avoid gluteal implants and if you absolutely still are convinced you want the operation then choose one of the handful of plastic surgeons who specialize in doing this procedure with intramuscular placement and has a solid track record. Someone who does this procedure on a regular basis should be doing at least one a week. Ask yourself why most plastic surgeons don’t do this procedure when they’re happy to do every other procedure in the book. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Long term effects of buttock implants Hi and welcome to our forum! In our practice, we reserve the use of buttock implants for thin patients with little body fat. We prefer fat transfer, whenever possible, as it is a simpler procedure with a shorter recovery and less potential complications. Long term complications of buttock implant placement such as implant migration / malposition and asymmetry are unusual. One should avoid significant changes in body weight. We place the implant in a submuscular position, thus blunting its appearance at the skin surface. In our experience, the result is quite natural.Best wishes...
