I want to ask a doctor if it's useful to use the Minoxidil like Rogaine or Equate?

You should have a diagnosis before considering a treatment.  Topical minoxidil (Rogaine) may help grow hair for some people.  It is best you see a doctor for an exam before starting treatment.

If your hair loss is due to genetic hair loss minoxidil might help. But even if it turns out you have genetic hair loss, there are many reasons why this drug might not be right for you. Speak to a physician to get a diagnosis and then decide together if minoxidil is a good idea.There are dozens and dozens of other reasons to lose hair besides genetic hair loss and minoxidil does not help these as consistently.  Step 1 is to confirm your diagnosis.If you have telogen effluvium, lichen planopilaris, alopecia areata, frontal fibrosing alopecia, pseudopelade, trichotillomania or any of the other top 20 causes of hair loss, minoxidil might not be the first line treatment.
