Is It Appropriate to Burn an Accessory Nipple off with Liquid Nitrogen?

I have what I thought was a small mole in front of my axilla for as far back as I remember. 2nd one grew after breastfeeding & texture of 1st changed (became nipple like!) I went to dermatologist recently He burnt off skin flaps with liquid N2 including the 2 structures. Most healed quickly but 2 axillary structures hurt & were v.sensitive. I consulted a GP She immediately classified them as Extra nipples! What do you recommend other than demanding my money back and going to a different Derm?

Great questions and difficult reconstruction. Any breast surgery can effect your breast feeding. If breast feeding is critical to you then I would not have breast surgery. Additionally you may loose nipple sensation during the correction. Although not common it can happen and you should discuss...

At your age I would make sure you completely understand the risks involved in a surgery to the areolae. You could lose sensation and the ability to breast feed.

Accessory breast tissue and nipples are very common.  For many women (and men) they don't even realize that they have polythelia as the supernumerary nipple may look like a mole.  I would advise against any topical treatment and suggest you see a reputable plastic surgeon in your area....
