Is it normal for my implant to still feel hard after two weeks?

Hello,Thank you for your question. Yes, we would expect that you still have some inflammation and breasts will feel firm at two weeks post op. It will take between 2-6 months for the breasts to soften and drop. Share any concerns with your Plastic Surgeon.All the best 

What you are describing does not sound concerning, It will take 3-6 months for you to appreciate a final result, follow your post op instruction and discuss any concerns.     Good Luck

I tell my patients that during the first few weeks after their breast augmentation their breast  implants may feel like two rocks, and they may even ask themselves why they had a breast augmentation!HOWEVER, with time, the implants and breasts always soften up, the breast shape changes, the swelling goes away, the chest muscles relax, and the implants settle into place. The feelings you are having currently are normal, and usually by 3 months your breasts will feel soft after a breast augmentation.  AND, as more months go by, they will continue to feel even softer, until you'll forget that you even have breast implants. Thanks for sharing!
