Can picking pimples on breast damage implants?

Hi, this is a little too much info but I have broken out on my chest in pimples and blackheads since my breast aug in the last 6 months. I have picked a couple because they are driving me crazy! Will picking them rupture the implant with the squeezing? It's made me anxious thinking I have done damage. I have silicone under the muscle :) thanks for your help

Hello! Thank you for your question. The physical action will likely not cause any harm to your implants.  However, the potential bacterial infection or abscess formation may develop and become detrimental, especially at this point in the postoperative period. Consider other topical treatments and acne regimens. Best wishes!

The implants are deep under the breast tissue and possibly the muscle. So squeezing should be safe from rupture.Main concern is an infection traveling from the pimple to the implant which is nearby.Use OTC acne treatments such as Benzoyl Peroxide to keep the pimples from forming.
