Mentor 275cc MPP vs 350cc HP - which would be the best size for me? (photos)

Hello, thanks for the info and details. I think that your wish pic is reasonable, looks like you chose the right profile based on what you are looking for. Regarding the size; a difference of 75cc will give the "fuller" cup size; however it is a difficult call from our end. I suggest you go for sizing and bring a shirt to see how it would look in it. Most patients report that they wish they went with the larger size so we take that into consideration as well.

Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions.
350cc HP implant will definitely give you a fuller cleavage than 275cc MP implant (likely more subtle natural look).
I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations.

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants and they choose what looks right for them. None of the modalities to approximate final results from breast implants are 100% accurate; they merely facilitate the patient and the board certified PS concurring on the size, profile, and type of breast implant which will come the closest to reaching the patient's goal.
My patients prefer to try on implant sizers under garments they typically wear (workout tops, bikini, tight sweater, low cut dress) to determine if they fit as expected and help allay some of their trepidation associated with this decision. A very general estimate is that one cup size is 150 to 200 cc of volume, but realize that no direct correlation exists between the two. The most common size in the US is 350cc.

Thanks for your question! Based on your goal photo, you like a more natural slope. I think the MPP would serve you better than the HP, but a lot of it also depends on your body, your breasts, etc. I would share your wish photos with your surgeon. Good luck!

The plane on which the implant will be placed has a great deal to do with how these implants will look in some years to come. Thanks for your question. Your ps has offered you two options with the same diameter, but one will stick out more than the other. In general I find the Moderate plus more natural, I call it the dress it up or dress it down implant-- you can show it off when you want and hide it when you want.

The High profile is generally more like " Look what I did". Harder to hide and more likely to turn more heads.

So it really depends on which look you are going for. From your wish pic If you are an A cup and want a solid C cup you might lean toward the HP implant. When in doubt visit your PS and ask to try on sizers. In my own practice looking at sizers in a full length mirror is immensly helpful in my patients decision.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

It's hard to say for sure, but a 350cc implant will probably be a D cup on your small frame. I suggest you try on sizers prior to your procedure to get a better idea.

It's difficult to give a recommendation without any photos of you. The moderate plus profile may look more natural on you because you are small framed. I encourage you to return to your surgeon for further discussion of the implants. Many surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to give you an idea of how you may look after surgery.
