Hi Pianokeys. Based on your photos, I don't think it would be wise to get buccal fat removal to get a more sculped face. You are already starting to show signs of facial descent and removing fat will only worsen this problem, particularly in the area where the buccal fat lives. I would work on building up your midface as the main way to get yourself more lift/definition, possibly your jaw as well.
Young patients in their late 20s who have fullness in the lower anterior face could benefit from buccal fat removal to achieve a more sculpted look. Buccal fat pads are pockets of fat in the lower anterior face that cause the face to look round, heavy, or chubby. These buccal fat pads are typically genetically determined and resistant to size reduction through diet and exercise. Buccal fat removal permanently removes this fullness by eliminating these fat pockets, helping patients achieve a more sculpted appearance. It is highly recommended to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in buccal fat removal to determine if you are a candidate for the procedure and to achieve your aesthetic goals.I hope this helps!Sincerely,John Mesa, MD Buccal Fat Removal Specialist Plastic Surgeon New York - New Jersey - Miami
Firstly, I prefer to conduct a qualified preliminary examination to assess your individual facial structure and determine whether this procedure is suitable for you. Buccal fat removal aims to reduce fullness in the cheeks to achieve a more sculpted appearance to the face. Based on your photos, you are a suitable candidate for buccal fat removal. Additionally, for facial contouring, you may also consider fat injections or fillers to further enhance your facial features.
