Three months post-op (shave removal) my scar has improved significantly. My only concern is that there's now a very very small dark speck in the center of the scar. You can barely see it unless you look really close, but I'm afraid that this is a sign that the mole will grow back. However, I was unable to wear sunscreen for a few days so it might be from sun damage. Should i get it checked out?

From the photo, I don't see anything concerning such as infection. Keeping the wound covered and in a moist environment with a thin layer of something like Aquaphor will help it heal as well as possible. Eat a nutritious diet high in protein and avoid any nicotine....
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. This scar can be improved with lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
