The areola is covered by skin and this skin can be treated in the same way as skin over other parts of the body. A mole on the areola can be surgically removed as with a mole elsewhere. It is important that an accurate diagnosis is made. Abnormal moles can be serious as on other parts of the body. I suggest you seek the opinion of a suitably qualified and experienced plastic surgeon.Best wishes.
Thank you for the photos, It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and last 1-2 weeks after lip injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time....
Thank you for your question and photograph. In my experience, if there are cells left over from the mole after a biopsy, then the mole can return over time, which is to be expected. If you continue to be concerned about the area, then I highly recommend you consult with your dermatologist sooner...
