Did the cortisone permanently damage my skin? is there something I can do to improve the appearance?

I had an A-typical mole on my left breast. It was removed (sliced off the surfaced). It healed purple and raised. After a year of the removal I had 2 cortisone shots a few months apart. The 3rd shot was a larger amount of cortisone injected. It's been a year. I can't tell if it slowly got worse. The skin looks thin and more pale than my normal skin. The little white dot is not raised. Just appeared one randomly.
