So I had no results from my surgery instead I have gained weight. I never had really big boobs and my boobs have grown two cup sizes. I hate it. I loved my body prior just wanted to keep a flat stomach without working out. Now my stomach is big and my boobs are huge... will revision fix this? Please help it's depressing
Answer: Is it normal for your boobs to get bigger post Lipo? What happens when you had no results from your Lipo? Gaining weight can add to breast size. If the abdomen is larger, liposuction can be performed if indicated.

Answer: Weight Gain after Liposuction Thank you for your question.I am sorry to hear about your liposuction experience but would be interested to know how long it has been since your liposuction procedure. Liposuction, as you know, is a body contouring procedure that helps to eliminate some of those stubborn and localized fat pockets that do not respond to even rigorous diet and exercise regimens. What many patients believe, up until the time of their consultation, is that liposuction will help them loose weight, however, liposuction should not be thought of as a weight loss procedure. With that said, immediately following a liposuction procedure patients can experience a certain degree of 'bloat' that can be attributed to post-operative swelling. This swelling can take 6-12 months to resolve and can sometimes trick the scale during the early recovery period. While liposuction is a permanent method of fat reduction, it will not prevent a patient from gaining weight if they do not commit to an active and healthy lifestyle. With weight gain, fat can accumulate as it always has, and will continue to be redistributed throughout the body as it had been before (breast, thighs and buttocks are common areas). In this respect, patients should find that their new body proportions or contours afforded to them with liposuction are maintained even with weight gain. I would recommend that you follow up with your operating surgeon to discuss your experience and for a physical evaluation to determine what the best course of action is. I hope you find this helpful and I wish you the best!

Answer: Post op liposuction Sorry you are not satisfied with your results. In general, liposuction of the abdomen will not affect the size of your breasts. If you gain weight overall, your breasts and your abdomen regardless of prior surgery may get bigger. If losing weight does not solve the issue, you can consider further surgery. I suggest a consultation with a bord certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Good luck.

Answer: Weight gain If you gain weight, then it is no surprise that it gravitated toward the breasts and abdomen. Step one is to attempt to lose the weight as this would be the most cost effective option. Should this not be the case, then additional liposuction could be a possible solution. For the breasts, you may need a reduction.

Answer: Weight gain Weight gain after surgery can lead to fat accumulating in other areas. The breasts are one of these areas that enlarge. Lose the weight, and likely they will become smaller again.
