Is medical grade silicone safe for being injected into butt?

Medical grade silicone, like Silikon-1000 or AdatoSil-5000, would not be well suited for buttock injections to achieve augmentation. Off-label, facial microdroplet silicone injections are well tolerated in our practice - procedures typically involve depositing fractions of a teaspoon of silicone with multiple punctures. Buttock augmenation would require a large volume of silicone to see an effect, and large volume silicone injections should be avoided. Silicone buttock injections have lead to serious complications including disfigurement, migration, inflammation, pain, redness, firmness, pulmonary emboli, and death.Thank you for posting this important question on RS.Wishing you well.Dr. Joseph

Liquid silicone is unsafe, please do not use it ever. The autoimmune response could be triggered by this substance, if you look around on the Internet, you will find patients that have a lot of problems with this product. The inical medical use was only for retine problems.  
The Biopolymers cause a severe inflammatory reaction, known as Iatrogenic Allogenosis and Autoimmune Syndrome (A.S.I.A. Syndrome), then the use of any substance that is permanent is not advised, it also could migrate at the inicial injection suddenly, via retrograde arterial flow, at blood stream to organs and even to the lungs; that would be a catastrofic event. So I will not recommend to use it, the safest way to increase buttocks is through your own fat injections or through silicone implants. Unfortunately, in some cases, the fat is absorbed, especially patients who exercise a lot, that could be the reason.
Please remember to be aware, do not let any permanenrt filler to be injected into your face, breast, buttocks, calfs, genitalia, etc. It would be the worst solution.

I do not recommend silicone injections into the buttocks.  There is a long history of problems with this product, and it is almost impossible to remove completely.
