hi there - I've just realized that I've chipped a small triangular piece from the inside of a front tooth. After a bilateral sagittal ramusotomy, and braces, I now have a back-of-teeth retainer cemented behind the 4 front teeth. Can I get veneers over the two front teeth? the chipped area is verrrry thin in back - almost like a peeling fingernail. I'm terrified - and if not veneers, what can I do? - help! I'm a 48 yr. old woman in perfect health. thank you so much, Regan Kelly, NYC

Answer: Veneers and lingual retainers work well together
Have you tried booking an appointment with a dentist? I'm sure they will be able to help you. A full exam needs to be done and perhaps braces or veneers depending on what the xrays look like. Regular visits every 6 months to the dentist are a must to ensure good oral health.
I would continue working with your dentist to get them the shape you are happy with before the permanent ones are made . This way the lab would have a blueprint to work from that is what you want. They look pretty good but seem to angle out some. Good luck
