Both are great!  I have used both and love them both.  I base my decision on which one will look best in  a particular patient's mouth.  When considering Empress vs Emax, it may depend more on which lab is being used and how their Empress veneers and crowns look compared to the Emax veneers and crowns. There is no question that Emax is stronger. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't get good color with Emax, that's because empress is cheaper & easier to make.
