I have had 3 failed rhinoplaties and cannot afford for a fourth one to go wrong. There is no doubt he is good by looking at his before/after photos, but Is dr Kassir a revision rhinoplasty expert? Or would you recommend someone else for this complicated of a rhinoplasty?
Answer: The right surgeon for you? Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for you. Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: The feasibility of a fourth rhinoplasty surgery can only be made during a consultation. You may consider consulting several reputable rhinoplasty specialists with your operative reports and preoperative photos, so you could see what might be best for you moving forward.Wishing you well.Dr Joseph

Answer: Revision Rhinoplasty Asking doctors to recommend other doctors may not be your most effective way to find a surgeon. A positive review could be a doctor promoting or not in competition with the doctor. A less than stellar review may be someone trying to do the case. I personally do not know the doctor in question. The best thing to do is to check the surgeon's photos, check reviews everywhere, get a consult with them and maybe other opinions. You need due diligence and remember, you have already had 3 surgeries and there are no guarantees

Answer: Dr Kassir, revision rhinoplasty expert Danielle0971 I am not in the business of warm line endorsement but I know Dr. Kassir particularly well and he would be one of the few people I would risk making a positive on line endorsement for. Dr. Kassir has remained exceptionally busy with rhinoplasty since he completed my fellowship almost 20 years ago. During his fellowship with me 40% of the rhinoplasties we performed were revision surgery. There are a number of other revision rhinoplasty experts around the country and in the vicinity of New York City where his practices. My advice to you would be to have an honest discussion with Dr. Kassir and ask him who he would recommend as an expert for a second opinion. If he is confident in his skills he will be comfortable providing you with the names of other physicians.

Answer: You will have to make the call.... Although baseball is a statistical game and most players who bat .300 will go to the Hall of Fame, rhinoplasty (or any surgery for that matter) doesn't work that way...unfortunately, sports are more transparent and competitive than surgeryThere are far too many self proclaimed rhinoplasty experts...vetting your surgeon can be difficult and time consuming but is essential... for every 10 surgeons (be they Plastic Surgery or ENT trained) who hold themselves out to be rhinoplasty experts, 9 are either exaggerating their talents or don't know any better....that still leaves several in the greater New York area and beyond who really know their stuff and practice exquisite rhinoplasty surgeryCredentials and proper training are a must, but beyond these minimum requirements you should look for the following traits in a rhinoplasty expert:1. many years of rhinoplasty practice experience2. judgment and techniques that have evolved over time3. practice focused on rhinoplasty 4. willingness to do difficult, secondary and reconstructive cases5. interest in teaching others how to evaluate and do rhinoplasty properly6. willingness to share rhinoplasty resume, photos and patient experiences with prospective patientsOnce you have gotten that far, you will have to become comfortable with the surgeon's assessment of your nose and trust their aesthetic judgment and plan for your surgery.good luck..
